Elite Multimedia Productions Continues Gear Acquisition to Support Company's Growth in 2014

While the touring season doesn't traditionally heat up until the summer months, Elite Multimedia Productions (EMP) of Nashville continues to stock up on gear with the acquisition of lighting equipment from A.C.T Lighting to meet the increased demand for its services in 2014.

A professional sound, lighting, and video company, EMP has purchased two grandMA2 consoles and 50 Clay Paky Sharpy and Clay Paky Sharpy Wash lighting fixtures, combined, from A.C.T to support a variety of notable musicians on the road in 2014, including Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Thompson Square, Rodney Atkins, and Big Daddy Weave. EMP said the company turned to A.C.T for its lighting needs having previously received high quality products and service from the company.

"We've worked closely with the professionals at A.C.T for many years and have been thrilled with their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction," said Tom Wilson, vice president of event production for EMP. "With the number of acts we're supporting and our desire to exceed their expectations on the road, it was critical that we have top-of-the-line lighting equipment backed by unmatched service. We know that's what we'll get with A.C.T."

An importer and distributor of lighting products, A.C.T Lighting strives to identify future trends and products, and stock, sell, and support their inventory. A.C.T Lighting Inc. is the exclusive distributor for Clay Paky and MA Lighting in North America.

"Elite Multimedia Productions has established a solid reputation in the touring industry for providing exceptional knowledge and tremendous service," said Brian Dowd, vice president of sales for A.C.T. "It's not surprising that many of the leading acts are relying on them for upcoming tours in 2014. We're fortunate to provide technology to a number of outstanding production companies and look forward to continuing to work with EMP for years to come."
