Adam Hall's Cameo Expands OPUS Series with 600W Outdoor Models

Both new OPUS models are NFC-ready and compatible with the Cameo CONNECT app.

With the OPUS H6 IP hybrid moving head and the OPUS SP6 IP spot profile moving head, Adam Hall's Cameo is expanding its OPUS series to include a new performance class: the 600W, IP65-certified moving heads are aimed at rental, dry-hire and production companies seeking compact and fully outdoor-ready spotlights with practical features for medium to large-scale outdoor productions.

Rental and dry-hire providers are increasingly faced with the challenge of stocking weatherproof, versatile yet compact fixtures suitable for a wide range of production sizes. The spectrum ranges from festivals and tours, corporate events, town festivals and temporary installations to TV productions.

The OPUS H6 IP has been specifically developed for applications where a single fixture needs to handle as many tasks as possible. This makes the IP65 hybrid moving head particularly suitable for dry-hire and rental stocks that need to be deployed economically and flexibly across a wide variety of productions. With its 600W LED white light engine delivering 22,000 lumens of light output, the OPUS H6 IP covers a wide range of applications thanks to its large zoom range of 1.8 to 53 degrees -- from precise beams and focused spot effects to powerful wash applications. The continuous pan rotation enables dynamic movements, rapid position changes and impressive looks from every angle. The creative potential of the OPUS H6 IP is complemented by four prisms on two levels, enabling striking aerial effects and complex beam structures. Weighing approximately 30 kg, this versatile hybrid moving head also remains compact and easy to handle -- a decisive advantage for productions where setups need to be quickly scalable and equipment efficiently deployed without compromising on output.

The OPUS SP6 IP also features a 600W LED white light engine with 22,000 lumens, but its primary emphasis is on precise lighting design in outdoor settings. For lighting designers and production service providers, the practical benefits lie primarily in cleanly defined projections and controlled illumination, even under changing production conditions. The fully lockable framing system with +87-degree rotation enables precise beam shaping, while the large zoom range of 3.5 to 53 degrees makes both narrow, clearly defined spots and wide-areas of light possible. Here too, the continuous pan rotation expands creative freedom in terms of positioning and movement. With its 165 mm front lens, compact housing and a low weight of 31.5kg, the OPUS SP6 IP combines a powerful stage presence with a high degree of practicality for everyday use in touring and outdoor applications.

Both new OPUS models are NFC-ready and compatible with the Cameo CONNECT app. This allows users to carry out configurations as well as service and maintenance processes particularly quickly and efficiently in one place, offering a significant workflow advantage for productions with tight schedules, frequently changing setups and large equipment inventories. Both fixtures are supplied with a matching flight case insert.

The Cameo OPUS H6 IP hybrid moving head and the OPUS SP6 IP spot profile moving head will be available from July 2026.
