XLNT CyberMotion Gets ProLight + Sound 2012 Moving

XLNT CyberMotion will be on display at Prolight + Sound, March 21-24, in Hall 9.0 on stand F61, in Frankfurt. The company says the system is designed to change the philosophy of motion control with new creative possibilities.

XLNT CyberMotion offers a complete range of mobile motion control products designed specifically for the entertainment industry. Developed by XLNT Advanced Technologies, a series of SIL3 certified, inter-compatible road-ready products have been created for shows and global concert touring.

Intelligent, variable-speed chain hoists, winches, trolley beams, and other (custom) motion control mechanics, instantly add movement and velocity the company says to permanent installations, multi-purpose venues, concert touring, and theatre, TV, or event productions of any size.

A convenient integrated truss concept significantly reduces load volumes, the time needed for set-up and tear-down and the required number of on-site staff, according to the company. All XLNT CyberMotion products are 175-440V multi-voltage for global use.

The plug-and-play CyberMotion system provides a choice of two intelligent, variable-speed chain hoists -- the CyberHoist II and the C-Hoist.

C-Winch has two compact, intelligent, high-speed winches (125kg or 250kg) for fast lifting and movement of lightweight objects and performer flying with 0.1mm positioning accuracy.

XLNT C-Track and XLNT C-Trolley provide a versatile, wide beam monorail track system suitable for truss suspension and floor mounting, with optional bus-bar for 100A power feed within the track.

Providing programming and control is the dedicated XLNT MotionCue3D performance console, a front-end operating console for intelligent, object-oriented programming of complex 3D objects with 0.1mm accuracy, using CAD and animation software. It provides real-time view and position tracking, the unique lateral force correction (for swing-less moves) and allows freely assignable points of rotation per object.

Finally, distributing the system's power and data respectively are XLNT C-Power, power distribution in durable steel housing, and XLNT DataMotion, according to the company, a road-proof and reliable Ethernet data distribution to keep equipment working under all circumstances.

As well as being SIL3 certified, CyberMotion is compliant with the international safety standards and codes of practice (EN61508, DIN56950, BS, FEM, UL), built using industrial grade technology to last and perform with a tireless duty cycle, and features practical, compact design, the company says.
