Apantac's Modular Universal Matrix Wins "Best-in-Show" Award for Installation

Thomas Tang, president of Apantac, with the Best in Show Award at ISE 2015.

Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, matrices, extenders, and signal processing solutions, announces that its new modular Universal Matrix won the Installation Best in Show Award at ISE 2015.

"We are honored to be recognized by our peers with this prestigious award," comments Thomas Tang, president of Apantac. "The feedback from our end-user customers, system integrators, and distribution partners has been so positive. We leveraged our broadcast roots and designed the Universal Matrix to be an affordable, expandable, future-proof, and easy-to-deploy system that addresses a broad spectrum of audiovisual applications."

The Universal Matrix is a sophisticated matrix system that can be customized for its specific application. The modular concept allows users to populate the chassis with various I/O boards up to a maximum 16x16 configuration in a 3RU frame. It is universal in nature in that it supports a mix of inputs and outputs including HDMI/DVI, remote HDMI/DVI over CAT 5e/6 using HDBaseT technology, SDI, as well as remote HDMI/SDI over fiber. One module can also be dedicated for clean switching for high quality seamless/glitch-free switching with an HDMI or HDBaseT output.

Apantac also has future plans to offer many more modules, which includes the award-winning Apantac universal quad-split input module that accepts 4x DVI, HDMI, VGA, YPbPr, and/or Composite sources.
