LMG Takes Delivery of L-Acoustics K2 SeriesLMG, LLC, a full-service provider of video, audio, and lighting support, recently added the L-Acoustics K2 line array speaker system to the firm's audio inventory to support the firm's corporate event and concert touring divisions. The K2 series is designed with the same superior SPL, LF, and throw capability as the well-known and industry benchmark K1 system, but rescaled into a 12" compact and flexible format with a record-breaking performance/weight ratio. The K2 system offers a state-of-the-art rigging system for exceptional accuracy and quick set-up, and can seamlessly combine with K1 for complementary fills, delays, and K1-SB and SB28 subwoofers. LMG has a history of success with the K1 system supporting both corporate events and tours, and also offers a wide range of L-Acoustics products including the KARA, KIVA, and KILO speakers. "The K2 lives up to the same high-quality standard set by its big brother, the K1, but the compact design and lighter weight opens up a wider range of applications such as ground support, arenas, ballrooms, theaters, and stadiums," said Shane Smith, director of audio services at LMG.
