Country star Thomas Rhett is out on tour with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites. The mutli-Platinum singer is currently lighting up the music charts with the Top 10 and climbing hit "Crash and Burn," the first single of his upcoming album Tangled Up, slated for September 25th release. Bandit worked with lighting director Andrew Hunt and tour manager Logan Kornegay, supplying 14 Chauvet Professional Legend Beams which span the top of the set, with four downstage on the right and the left, and another six in the middle of upstage to add depth. Additionally, 16 Martin Professional Mac Auras are on the lower part of the set as eight fixtures light the drums and keys, while the other fill the outer parts of the set.

"I love the punch these beam fixtures pack, and they stand out really well, whether they are shooting out over the crowd in an arena, hitting Thomas Rhett on a catwalk during a festival, or creating a cross pattern on the stage in a club," said Hunt. "The Mac Auras are fantastic. They play a big part in our show laying a solid color foundation for our wash, while nicely balancing with any other fixture we encounter."

Hunt shared the design came with very few challenges, both in part to the adaptability of the design, and the support he received from Bandit's team both in preproduction and while on the road.

"Bandit has been amazing to have on our team," he said. "When I walked into their shop to prep the rig, our project manager, Matt King, already had all the leg work done, and I walked into a very well prepped rig. When we got into rehearsals, I was able to know where everything was and what went where due to Bandit's attention to detail. Their staff has goes above and beyond to meet our needs whether it's fixing a fixture, or answering a question way after office hours. I love that fact that Brent Barrett will call me from time to time to check in on me, and see how things are going. Bandit is a relationship driven company, and I am thrilled to have the relationship we have with them!"
