Warren Katz of Global Scenic Services, Dies at 44

Warren Katz

Warren Katz, owner of Global Scenic Services, passed away October 14, 2016. He was 44. Katz purchased the Connecticut-based scene shop in 2006, building it up from a 6,000-sq.-ft. facility to 50,000-sq.-ft., and from eight employees to over 50. The company tackled a diverse array of projects, include Broadway's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Hand to God, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and NBC's Peter Pan Live.

Katz is survived by his wife Kathleen and son Winston. A service will be held October 18 from Frank E. Campbell (The Funeral Chapel) at 81st Street and Madison Avenue, New York.

Donations can be made in his name to the ASPCA.
