ACT Entertainment Brings Latest Technologies to LDI 2023

Ayrton's Argo 6 FX

ACT Entertainment will present multiple solutions from its various brands at LDI 2023 (Booth #365). This includes the debut of new products from Ayrton and the latest solutions from Visual Productions, a brand which ACT will be showcasing for the first time at this show.

"Each of these new products bring the kind of thoughtfulness and quality we expect to deliver to our customers, and we're certain they'll be invaluable tools for them going forward," says Ryan Hindinger, market manager: concert touring and live experiences, ACT Entertainment. "Since announcing our partnership with Visual Productions earlier this year, we have made great strides in familiarizing our US-based customers with the brand's solutions. Additionally, Ayrton is already well-known to our customers, to whom we're excited to show three new and very different lighting technologies at this show."

Specializing in the development of intelligent LED lighting solutions, Ayrton will debut its new lightweight Rivale Profile. The company's most versatile luminaire to date, the Rivale Profile was developed for indoor and outdoor applications, no matter the conditions. Weighing just under 63lb (28.5kg), it is equipped with a brand-new 450W high-efficiency LED module calibrated at 6,500K and offers an output of a staggering 30,000 lumens with optimal positioning to obtain perfect light neutrality.

The brand will also present its versatile Argo 6 FX, a weather-sealed effects luminaire that offers as much creative potential indoors as it does outside. Its anti-reflective treated glass window guarantees an optimal visual result and offers increased performance, while the placement of the pan and tilt motors in the base and head avoids the constraint of the weatherproofed yoke arms.

The much-anticipated Ayrton Cobra will also make its LDI debut after wowing audiences and designers alike around the globe. Offering a next-generation speckle-free laser source, the Cobra was designed for rendering a D65 white point that allows perfect color reproduction. It pushes all the limits when it comes to beam definition, with native contrast never before achieved by a digital light source, an incredible beam angle of 0.6° and an extreme range of focus, which permits the beam shape to be adjusted according to the operating distance XT-Focus.

Also being shown at the ACT Entertainment booth for the first time at LDI are solutions from Visual Productions, designer and manufacturer of controllers for the installation and architectural lighting industry. On display from this brand will be its RdmRelay device and Purple Cloud remote management solution. RdmRelay is a DIN rail-mounted device controllable via RDM and DMX512-A that features four heavy-duty 16A/250V AC resistive relays. It is ideal for controlling non-DMX equipment or switching off a lighting installation.

Purple Cloud supports lighting controllers installed worldwide, offering a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for managing your lighting system. Its cloud-based approach allows users to easily access and manage their lighting system from anywhere in the world, providing unprecedented control and visibility over operations.
