The RapcoHorizon Company Now Offering Momentum Line of Products

The RapcoHorizon Company is now offering the complete line of Momentum products, featuring personal monitor and digital snake solutions, to its customer base. Along with the expanded availability, Momentum mo8me personal monitor mixers' mTweak app is now fully upgraded to be compatible with Apple iPad.

The RapcoHorizon Company's recent purchase of Pro Co Sound ensures that both brands' customers will have access to a complete line of audio cables, snakes, devices, and services. With the mo8me mTweak feature, touring artists can use their iPod/iPhone, and now even an iPad, to wirelessly tweak their personal monitor mix, giving them a wider field of movement on stage. "We are very excited to now offer the Momentum system's complete line of products and services," says Darius Seabaugh, vice president of marketing. "The line perfectly complements RapcoHorizon's offerings, and the mo8me mTweak feature is a tremendous advantage among our touring artists."

Originally released for the iPhone/iPod Touch, mTweak users can control all the available settings as they perform. Once downloaded from the iTunes store, the mTweak provides instant access to all 32 channels with 16 instant recall mix memory slots. Users can also control and mute up to 32 channels at one given time and any mo8me mixer in the network can be accessed from one device. The password protection feature allows for programmable ID's and lock-out functions.

The Momentum mo8me is the DSP-based mix engine component of the Momentum digital audio distribution network. It utilizes 32 network inputs with three band EQ and HPF (high pass filter). Output mixes can be mono or stereo and include three band EQ and panning control. The Momentum Digital Audio Distribution Network is designed to replace traditional analog audio wiring anywhere audio distribution is needed. By capturing audio at the source, converting it to digital audio and distributing it over a standard Ethernet network, difficulties in executing the increasingly complicated audio systems of today can be simplified. By reducing the amount of field terminations, installation becomes less time consuming.
