Elation's New Protron 3K a High-Impact, High Value LED Strobe

Elation's Protron 3K LED strobe

The Protron 3K from Elation Professional is a new high-powered LED strobe light that not only packs a powerful punch but provides a much better ROI compared to other conventional 3K Xenon strobes on the market.

Capable of blasting out 80,000 lumens of power from 200 x 3W cool white LEDs, its energy-efficient design makes it an attractive choice for all types of applications from stage and studio to nightclubs and more. Compact and lightweight at only 17.2lb (7.8kg), the Protron 3K delivers the same output as Xenon strobes but uses much less power (peak power output is 900W) with high or low power mode options.

Utilizing special optics and new LED driver technology, the Protron 3K includes built-in effect macros like burst, pulse, and lighting for unique effects possibilities and can even operate full on without causing thermal-out issues thanks to regulated silent cooling fans that keep the Protron 3K from overheating.

The Protron 3K comes in a robust housing and includes electronic dimming for full output control. Other benefits include a long average LED life of 50,000 hours, greater reliability and less maintenance compared to traditional Xenon strobes.

The Protron 3K is controllable via 4 DMX modes (one / two / three / four channels) for a variety of control options and a host of features come standard like three- and five-pin DMX in/out and PowerCON in/out connections with included PowerCON cable. A four-button control panel with LCD menu display makes for easy navigation through DMX and manual settings and an auto-sensing power supply allows the Protron 3K to operate anywhere in the world.
