Martin Tours China with Product Seminars and Demos

Martin MAC Viper Profile at seminars in China

In celebration of Martin Professional's 25th anniversary, Martin Hong Kong has been touring the company's latest innovative products across China with stops in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

Stops in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Hong Kong have already been held successfully with upcoming stops planned for the Prolight + Sound exhibition in Shanghai October 11-14, and Chengdu and Wuhan in late October.

The Guangzhou seminar was held at the Guangdong Drama Troupe on August 10th with about one hundred people attending from the entertainment, engineering, broadcasting, and performance sectors. The emphasis was on two of Martin's award-winning lights -- the MAC Viper Profile and MAC Aura LED wash light -- along with the M2GO and M2PC lighting consoles. Dozens of Martin moving heads were installed on the Drama Troupe stage with a brilliant light show and music entertaining between lectures.

The Beijing seminar was held on August 21st at the Banquet Hall of the Beijing Royal Hotel with nearly two hundred attendees. A stunning light show as a prelude to the seminar was designed by lighting designer Cai Mingli, who incorporated the new MAC Viper Profile, which gave participants a taste of its power and effects before its formal introduction by Martin product manager Peter Skytte.

In addition to explaining the features of the MAC Viper Profile, Skytte also presented a comparative demonstration against similar fixtures. Also on the agenda was the MAC Aura while Martin senior sales manager Zhang Qian followed with a presentation of the M2GO and M2PC consoles.

Booths were also set up so that guests could get hands-on with the products while a display tracing Martin Professional's development over the last 25 years drew a lot of interest.
