d&b audiotechnik Shows Loudspeaker Range at ABTT

d&b audiotechnik's stand at ABTT

d&b audiotechnik experienced a successful ABTT 2012 at the Truman Brewery. The new venue saw focus fall firmly on the smaller end of the d&b loudspeaker range, including the E4 and E5, while from the installation tailored White range came the similarly sized 4S and 5S.

The E4 and E5 are new additions to the E-Series; launched in February these miniature light weight two-way passive coaxial loudspeakers offer a wide 100-degree symmetrical dispersion pattern in the horizontal and vertical plane, while the cabinet may be mounted in either attitude. Both E4 and E5 are intended for speech and music reinforcement in theatres, conferences, industrial presentations, and broadcast studios, together with their application as surround sound, delay, or fill systems. Entirely capable of being used stand-alone or supplemented by different subwoofers from the E-Series, the E4 and E5 loudspeaker cabinets and most accessories are also available with the special color (SC) option, while the cabinets are weather protected as standard.

Visitors were also treated to the new V-Series, a midsized line array system already gaining wide acceptance. The V8 and V12 loudspeakers project 80- and 120-degree horizontal dispersion respectively from their efficient three-way passive design while the dedicated V-SUB incorporates d&b patented passive cardioid technology.

The seminar "Can you hear me at the back?", presented by Oran Burns is just one of the many educational sessions d&b likes to deploy at such events.

"We always feel at home coming to ABTT," remarked Phill Coe, market manager for d&b GB, "the new venue gave an added sense of drama. The seminar presentation by Oran was well attended, as was the stand; Black and White attracted equal interest and it was good to note visitors engaging with the subtle differences between the two."
