USITT Enhances Website

A familiar look combined with enriched features are making www.usitt.org much faster to navigate and more easily viewed on all types of devices.

USITT rolled out its website improvements recently, including an online member directory with expanded information about people and organizations, and easy access for members to find discounts and information such as back issues of TD&T and the J. R. Clancy catalog archive.

Executive director David Grindle said "members have been asking for features like dedicated discussion forums for each of our commissions, and a way for students and student chapters to communicate easily. Those features are all part of this new site."

As soon as members log in, they have the ability to update their information and change everything from communication preferences to company descriptions. Renewing memberships, registering for the Annual Conference & Stage Expo, and asking questions have all been simplified.

For USITT's staff, the aim is greater efficiency and more time to devote to member services.

Conference registration is being rolled out over the next few weeks, with plenty of time for people browse the large selection of sessions, view the companies who are participating in Stage Expo, and plan individual agendas for the March 20 to 23, 2013 event.

2013 Annual Conference & Stage Expo activities will be centered around the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
