Shure Named One of the Nation's Best and Brightest Companies

Shure has been honored as one of the country's 2011 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For, by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). The award honors companies that recognize their associates as their greatest asset.

The only audio company on the list, Shure was selected because of its commitment to excellence across its human resource practices and employee enrichment programs. This year's judging criteria examined the following areas: communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, and retention.

"The success of the company hinges on the talented people who work here -- and we never lose sight of that. To be recognized among such an elite group of national companies is a rewarding testament to the culture and work environment we are committed to creating for our associates," said Sandy LaMantia, president and CEO of Shure Incorporated. "Without their hard work, dedication, and ingenuity, we would not be where we are today, and for that we thank each associate for their contributions in making our legacy of legendary sound synonymous with the Shure brand."

Following an online survey administered by the NABR and taken by Shure associates in May 2011, the company was honored with its fourth placement on the list of Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For. The company previously made the list in 2006, 2007, and 2008. After recognition in the regional division, Shure advanced for consideration at the national level, being named a winner in January 2012.
