MEGA-LITE Exhibits at USITTThe MEGA-LITE team had the opportunity to participate in this year's edition of USITT, once again lighting the Expo Stage and showcasing its latest product releases. MEGA-LITE exhibited at Booth #473, presenting new additions to the DECO line series, including low-voltage LED fixtures such as the Utility lights, Streamline and Streamline Marine, Pixadot, and the CV4 and CV24 drivers, all mounted on Stage Carts for efficient and practical display. At the center of the booth was the LSD5, a pendant bar fixture that combines light and sound in a single unit. The booth was framed with Light Trusses, providing both structural support and dynamic lighting. The S-phere was also featured, demonstrating the evolution of the M-sphere with enhanced beam control through six independently moving flat mirrors. One of the highlights of the show was the Frostbot, a versatile fixture featuring a digital frost system that allows smooth transitions from beam to wash, along with pixel control for added flexibility. With its IP65 rating and tilting design, it performs reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments. Another element that drew strong attention from the theater and production community was the lineup of followspots, including the Drama FS-LED 700, Drama FS-LED 900, Followbot Compact 1000W LED, Followbot 1000W LED, and Followbot 1500 LED. Displayed together in a unified formation, the presentation highlighted the range and consistency across the family of fixtures, allowing attendees to experience their output and capabilities firsthand. Also, the Followbot 600 was introduced at the show, featuring an integrated CMYK color mixing system, making it the first MEGA-LITE followspot with this capability. In addition to the booth, MEGA-LITE once again illuminated the Expo Stage, this time in collaboration with Chris Russo and his team from Penn State School of Theatre, creating a colorful display that included six Toad Hybrid LED 400s, four Outshine Pegasus, seven EW1s, three Pielight Multibeams, eight Frostbots, six Framebots, and two M-spheres. Control was handled using the MEGA Console with ilumin8, a powerful platform for production and theatrical lighting control.
