Behind the Scenes Raffle Winners at USITT Conference

The Long Reach Long Riders and The ESTA Foundation announced the results of their joint raffle and live auction to benefit the Behind the Scenes program at the USITT conference in Long Beach, California. Sales of raffle tickets and BTS and LRLR-branded swag raised just over $9,800 for the charity.

The winners and their prizes are:

*Dinna Myers - Apollo Design Technology's Smart Move DMX gobo rotator
*Byrne Blackwood - Barbizon's Technician's Tool Kit
*Patrick Finn - Gasoline gift certificate from J.R. Clancy
*Sheryl Sturges - iPad2 16GB from Musson Theatrical
*Spencer Lyons - Rosebrand.com gift certificate
*Bill Beautyman - Sapsis Rigging gift certificate
*Alexandria Vazquez and Jeff Flowers - USITT 2013 full conference registrations
*Janice Robillard - Three pair of tickets to the Utah Shakespearean Festival

The Grand Prize -- Vectorworks Spotlight with Renderworks -- went to Bruce Krempetz.

A huge crowd gathered for the festivities once again emceed by Bill Sapsis. Pre-raffle activities included the traditional kazoo parade, presentation of the annual Rosco contribution from the sales of Roscolux #359, the announcement of the total raised to date by backstagejobs.com in their month-long fundraising drive in celebration of their 15th year and 16,000 job posting, the presentation from the Penn State chapter of USITT of the annual check from their year-long fundraising activities, a surprise presentation by ETC of a check from the proceeds of sales of the iRFR app, give-aways for the crowd provided by Wenger and InterAmerica Stage, and a live auction of four tickets to a Yankees home game donated by Jessie Friend and Lee Filters, two tickets to the Broadway production of Nice Work If You Can Get It donated by Local One IATSE, and custom made walnut pens and a wine bottle stopper donated by Trish and Shan Ayers.
