TechMDinc Adds Lighting System Design and Integration Services

Technical Multimedia Design, Inc (TechMDinc), an engineering and design firm specializing in audio, video, control, and networking systems for the themed entertainment and attractions industry, is adding lighting and rigging systems engineering and integration services to its repertoire of services.

"With the hiring of key personnel, Kurt Schnabel as principal, lighting and Michael Jonas, engineer, lighting, and rigging, TechMDinc can hit the ground running on offering lighting system integration and rigging/installation services immediately," the company says.

Schnabel is an experienced designer with over 20 years of industry experience, providing integrated solutions for theatrical productions, special events, corporate theatre, and architectural installations. Schnabel has managed installations at institutions ranging from single offices to major museums and has designed themed environments for both private companies and public venues along with implementing projects for broadcast studios, houses of worship, performing arts centers, municipal buildings, universities, and arenas.

Jonas brings extensive construction and entertainment experience to this new area of service at TechMDinc. He is a licensed, certified ETC rigging provider and provides service and support after project installations.
