Eighteen Sound announces the release of the XG10 line source waveguide with a one-inch throat entry. The product was recently on display at the Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt, Germany last month.

The XG10 has a transmission line acoustic design that minimizes internal reflections and acoustic loss, while the throat shape has been optimized for lowering air distortion. When paired with an Eighteen Sound one-inch exit, high-frequency compression driver, the company says it delivers an unmatched level of performance.

The waveguide has been optimized to provide a 10-degree vertical dispersion angle, while the horizontal coverage angle can vary from 80- to 120-degrees depending upon the specific cabinet design.
