Robe Launches New Products at LDI

At LDI, Robe launched five new products in its T-Series, the T10 Profile -- available with rapid-change objective system for PC and Fresnel options, together with the T3 PC and T3 Fresnel -- the latter being added to the just-launched T3 Profile.

The independent Czech Republic lighting manufacturer also showcased five other recently launched products for the first time at a US trade show: the SVOPATT Classic, PowerDolly, the compact iPAINTE LTM, the multispectral T3 Profile, and the WTF! multifunctional strobe/wash/blinder.

The company's "free to customer" upgrade to the iFORTE LTX also generated much interest. It boosts the output of this high-powered fixture to 410,000 lux at 5m.

The 1,400W T3 Profile, designed for larger theatres and studios, with the new award-winning ProFrost progressive diffusion system, also received much attention from attendees.

There was high interest in the RoboSpot remote followspot system solution, given its latest software update. This includes the possibility of adjusting fade times between presets, a color picker set by numerical value, color and position buttons to increase preset storage, a dedicated LT button, and dynamic cross setup for iris.

T10 has a streamlined design for smaller theatres and studios, with all the features and benefits of Robe's award-winning larger T11 Profile. It uses a 200W MSL (Multi-Spectral Light) additive color-mixing engine combined with Robe's TE (TRANSFERABLE ENGINE) technology, generating 8,300 lumens (at the integrating sphere. The LED technology provides identical color characteristics, responses, and control of all the T-series luminaires, giving complete color consistency across any Robe lighting installation. A virtually controlled CCT range runs from 2,700K to 8,000K (extended range 1,800K to 10,000K) with calibrated whites and tungsten emulation for the most precise control.

The T10 Profile has a five-degree to 55-degree zoom range and a virtually controlled CRI of 80-95-plus for perfect color rendition and beautiful skin tones, the company says. For rapid programming, there is an onboard virtual DataSwatch color library.

T10 is also designed for noise-sensitive and camera environments with enhanced Cpulse flicker-free operation and a dedicated plus and minus green control channel. All fixture controls are available in stand-alone mode via the rear display and control knobs.

To increase gobo capacity from the single breakup gobo and holder included with the fixture, an optional drop-in module with two rotating and two static gobos using Robe's standard slot and lock system is available. An easy-to-install motorized iris is included, which allows simultaneous use of both static and rotating gobos.

Utilizing a rapid-change front lens system, the T10 Profile can be quickly transformed into a Fresnel or PC fixture.

The T3 Fresnel is billed as bringing a new edge to high-powered multispectral wash lighting. Engineered for long-throw applications in large theatres and performance spaces, it delivers 35,000 lumens (integrating sphere) from its 1,400W MSL light source. The company says it "reveals its theatrical roots with a classic soft beam and a wide-ranging six-degree to 65-degree zoom for immaculate coverage across large spaces. It is said to excel in nuanced color work, offering selectable CMY, RGB, or individual color emitter control for advanced additive color mixing.

Features include the DataSwatch virtual color library; factory-calibrated whites; an extensive 1,800K to 10,000K CCT range; lamp-selectable tungsten emulation; and MCE macro-driven multicolored effects. The virtually controlled CRI of 80-95-plus is suitable for natural skin tones. Ultra-smooth theatrical dimming is achieved with the L3 eighteen-bit system for seamless fades-to-black.

Features include Robe's 4Door four-leaf barndoor system (90-degree rotation), edge correction, and RotaScrim graduated filter with 180-degree beam rotation for the removal of unsightly hotspots.

The T3 Fresnel and T3 PC both feature Robe's zero-degree to 15-degree ProFrost progressive frost system, billed as giving precise, variable, and even diffusion across the entire beam at any zoom setting. Other features include a dedicated plus/minus green channel and Cpulse flicker-free management for broadcast. The fixture is acoustically optimized for noise-sensitive environments.

The T3 PC offers console-adjustable fan modes for consistent output, and AirLOC (Less Optical Cleaning) technology minimizes airborne particle buildup and airflow noise. An Epass Ethernet pass-through switch safeguards network connectivity, and the REAP (Robe Ethernet Access Portal) enables network-based monitoring.

Among many LDI activities off the show floor, Robe also hosted the second annual Craig Burross Golf Invitational and had the opportunity to showcase its iBOLT luminaire atop the Rio Hotel & Casino where Bill Blanchard, of Foo Dog Productions, assisted Robe product manager Peter Moore and Northeast sales manager Thommy Hall in creating a special showcase of light using four iBOLTS which shined bright every night from December 4-13.

Robe's LDI booth also featured dedicated sections for the latest news and products from its other businesses -- Avolites, Anolis, and LSC Control Systems -- all of which added to the highlights of what was reportedly a very busy and successful 2025 for The Robe Group.
