Bartha Invests in Meyer Sound LYON, Citing its Linear Response, Imaging, and New Rigging System

Bartha of Columbus, Ohio has become one of the newest rental companies to purchase a Meyer Sound LYON linear sound reinforcement system. The company says Bartha sees LYON as a powerful tool that will allow the company to deliver the utmost audio quality for corporate events in convention centers and arenas as well as indoor and outdoor music concerts. LYON will be featured at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas from June 18 - 20 where Meyer Sound is exhibiting in booth C9725.

"We invested in LYON because we always strive to have the latest and best from Meyer Sound," states Chris Andrus, audio department manager at Bartha. "Our decision was sealed when we heard LYON demonstrated in San Francisco. We were impressed by its linear response and exceptional stereo imaging, as well as the new flyware, which is the fastest and safest we've seen yet."

Introduced in January, LYON incorporates the advanced technology of the LEO family in a lighter and more compact package, extending the advantages of highly linear self-powered systems to a wider range of venues and applications.

The arrival of 24 LYON-M main line array and eight LYON-W wide-coverage line array loudspeakers adds to Bartha's existing inventory of 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements and Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management systems. Bartha now offers 19 Meyer Sound models, totaling 252 loudspeakers.

"We see our Meyer Sound stock as a complete toolbox, with the right tools for any job," says Andrus. "Our strong relationship with Meyer Sound has helped us grow our business over the years. And now, with the addition of LYON, we have a powerful new tool for the most demanding jobs."

The first deployment of Bartha's new LYON system was a corporate event at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. "The room sounded the best we have ever heard it," reports Andrus. "The consistency and quality were amazing -- from the back row of the nosebleed seats to the very front, the tone was crisp and articulate. The clarity of the system was truly outstanding. The rig never sounded like it was 'working' -- you asked it to reproduce something, and it did just that, regardless of level."

A diversified and full-service event production and staging company, Bartha manages all creative and logistical aspects of event production, from concept through design, staging, logistics, and operations. Bartha clients include a wide range of businesses, educational and governmental institutions, and religious organizations. Bartha regularly produces events nationwide and occasionally overseas.
