M&W Pro Audio Appoints Jay Schlabs as Chief Revenue Officer

Jay Schlabs

M&W Pro Audio, a new company founded by Greg Mackie and Peter Watts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Schlabs as chief revenue officer. Schlabs brings more than two decades of leadership experience in professional audio, global sales strategy, channel development, and consumer products to the company as it prepares for the launch of its first generation of products. The appointment comes as M&W Pro Audio continues to expand its leadership team and commercial operations ahead of its entry into the global professional audio market.

Schlabs began his career in professional audio at Mackie Designs, where he served as national sales manager. He later joined inMusic Brands as executive director of sales, where he spent thirteen years leading global sales and marketing efforts across multiple professional audio brands. Most recently, Schlabs served as senior director of E-Commerce at PetSafe Brands, where he spent nine years leading the company's e-commerce strategy and digital growth initiatives.

Commenting on his new role, Schlabs offers the following, "M&W Pro Audio is being built by some of the most respected names in the industry, and the opportunity to help shape a new company from the ground up is incredibly compelling. Greg, Peter, and the entire team share a vision for developing innovative solutions that address real-world challenges for audio professionals. I am excited to join the team and help build strong relationships with our customers, channel partners, and distributors as we introduce M&W Pro Audio to the market. I look forward to contributing to the growth of a company that is committed to innovation, product excellence, and long-term success."

Mackie is equally enthusiastic about Schlabs joining the company's leadership team. "I've known Jay for years and have always been impressed by both his leadership abilities and his business acumen. He brings a unique combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and industry experience that will be invaluable as we continue building M&W Pro Audio. I have every confidence that Jay will play a key role in helping our organization grow while staying true to our commitment to innovation and customer-focused product development."
