Supernova 4 -- LumenRadio's RDM Management Tool Improves Again

LumenRadio, providers of wireless DMX, releases a new version of SuperNova -- Supernova 4. SuperNova is a complete system management tool for monitoring and configuring a user's lighting network and with the new features and improved UI this RDM management tool has got even better.

With support for both CRMX and third party Art-Net nodes from other manufacturers, SuperNova provides a clear and detailed view of the status of your entire network -- both wired and wireless devices. RDM enabled fixtures can be configured and monitored from the software, with configuration of common parameters just a click away.

SuperNova 4 features a new and improved UI. The all-new flat design is aimed to work extremely well on not only your regular laptop, but also on tablet type computers with touch screen, such as Microsoft Surface.

Among the new features is that now users have unlimited access to RDM through third party Art-Net nodes for any number of universes, configuration of dimmer specific parameters such as dimmer curves, improved support for sub-devices, improved support for saving complete projects to disk and improved support for multi-screen systems.

Furthermore SuperNova 4 now supports the latest version of Java, which means that it now will install and run on any new version of Microsoft Windows or Apple's Mac OS.

"During the last couple of years we have released a number of new products for our hardware products, CRMXchip that revolutionized wireless DMX receivers, TiMo RX and TiMo FX that did the same for RDM users, and last year we released the USB transmitter that brings CRMX to a whole new level of users. We now thought it were time to give some love to our software product, SuperNova, as well," Michael Karlsson, R&D manager at LumenRadio, explains. He elaborates: "Among the new features, my favorite is support for doing firmware updates wirelessly over the air directly to a supported receiver."

SuperNova 3 was awarded the PLASA Award for Innovation and now the company proudly present its successor -- SuperNova 4. Visit LumenRadio at Prolight + Sound in the company's booth C76 in Hall 3.0 April 4 - 7 to experience a live demo.
