ADJ's New Media Sys Range Offers Freestanding Digital Signage

The WMS freestanding digital signage systems are designed to boost customer engagement by delivering custom video content across a variety of retail and corporate settings.

Designed for a wide range of applications in the events and retail sectors, ADJ's new Media Sys range offers portable and flexible digital signage solutions. Each package combines WMS Series high resolution LED video panels with sturdy floor stands and powerful Novastar processors, delivered in road-ready wheeled flight cases. With USB, LAN, and wireless connectivity, these practical tools allow custom branding and informational signage to be easily and effectively deployed, the company says.

At the heart of the Media Sys range is the WMS Media Stand, which is designed to accommodate two of ADJ's WMS Series LED video panels deployed in a portrait orientation. Each panel measures 1,000mm-by-500mm, which makes for an impactful digital signage display measuring 2000mm (78.6")-by-500mm (19.6") when two panels are attached to the stand. The stand is equipped with a sturdy freestanding base, with a rear support brace, and retractable wheels to allow for convenient repositioning once assembled. The stand features a hinged design to make it easy to transport and ADJ recommends using the EVSVAC vacuum tool (sold separately) for attaching and removing the panels, which must be carried out before folding the stand.

The stand features an integrated Novastar TB50 video processor, which drives the LED panels and allows the system to operate as a standalone digital sign. Static image or dynamic video files can be loaded directly via a USB socket or using a LAN or wireless connection to a PC or mobile device running dedicated software, which incorporates playlist and scheduling functionality. The stand incorporates power and signal connections to the individual panels, meaning that a single power input -- via IEC socket -- supplies both panels as well as the processor.

The WMS freestanding digital signage systems are designed to boost customer engagement by delivering custom video content across a variety of retail and corporate settings. The product is well-suited for hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, trade shows, sporting events, corporate functions, wedding venues, and more.

Four ADJ Media Sys packages are available. The WMS2 Media Sys combines a pair of WMS2 LED panels, which offer a 2.6mm pixel pitch, with a WMS Media Stand and is delivered in a compact wheeled road case. This system delivers a vibrant digital sign with a resolution of 192-by-768. Meanwhile, the WMS2 Media Sys DC is a twin pack featuring four panels and two stands contained in a single large road case. Offering a higher resolution alternative, the WMS1 Media Sys combines a pair of WMS1 panels with a WMS Media Stand and road case. This system has an increased pixel pitch of 1.9mm, delivering an impressive digital sign with a resolution of 256-by-1024 for enhanced clarity closer up. Finally, the WMS1 Media Sys DC is a twin pack of the higher resolution variant.

"The Media Sys range offers intuitive and highly effective digital signage solutions that are easy to transport, setup, and deploy," explains ADJ USA's director of sales, Alfred Gonzales. "Taking ADJ's high resolution WMS1 and WMS2 LED video panels, which are usually used for fixed installation applications, and delivering them with a purpose-designed portable stand in a robust road case delivers standalone, high resolution digital signage that is ready to be put to work in any event or retail setting."

All four products are available now from ADJ USA and are due to begin shipping from ADJ Europe on May of this year.
