Chauvet DJ Sets A High Bar at The 2020 NAMM Show with Exciting New Gear

Chauvet DJ, seven-time winner of Lighting Line of the Year by MMR, once again will showcase forward-thinking lighting gear at the 2020 NAMM Show, booth 11138. This year, Chauvet DJ has outdone themselves, offering expansions of their wildly popular GigBAR series and Freedom line, along with a host of game-changing fixtures outfitted for a range of mobile applications.

At NAMM, show-goers will meet flagship fixture, GigBAR Move, a five-in-one, pack-n-go lighting system now with two 10W LED moving heads. This innovative system includes a tripod and carry bag, as well as wireless footswitch with a user-friendly LCD menu that makes programming a breeze. GigBAR Move features quad colored RGB+UV LEDS, derbies, strobes, and laser dynamics, making it a crowd-pleaser for the mobile DJ, bands, bars, and club communities, and a perfect companion piece to the GigBAR 2.

Another breakout piece is the 100% wireless, outdoor-rated gobo projector, Freedom Gobo IP. This battery powered, cool white 16W LED gobo projector has a built-in D-Fi transceiver and wireless, non-DMX control using the IRC-6 remote for more personalized control. The fixture runs silently and has a rugged, IP54-rated die-cast aluminum housing for temporary all-weather application.

Joining the Freedom family is the Freedom Wedge Quad, another completely wireless, battery-operated, quad-color RGBA LED PAR wash light. Its triangular shape easily fits inside triangle truss systems, making setup simple without sacrificing output. The newest members of the Freedom line are on the wish list of anyone lighting for mobile entertainment, bands, or floral companies as well as event producers, rental houses, and fitness centers.

Newcomer Pinspot Bar is a 4,000k Natural White, six-pod bar with gels for different beam angles, a 2,700k color filter, and is totally pixel mappable. Pinspot Bar mounts to both pipe and drape with its included omega brackets, can function as a partner to EZBar, and is well-suited for the gallery, hospitality, and special events industries.

Chauvet DJ will roll out more eye-dazzling products at NAMM:
* Obsession -- A compact LED effect light that projects multicolored rotating gobos with separate color and gobo wheels for enhanced creative options, along with blanketing mid-air effect features.
* Scorpion Storm RGBY -- This compact, quad-color RGBY plug-and-play laser is a welcome supplement to the Scorpion Series, which projects hundreds of patterns along with customizable looks and independent control of each laser diode including unique and dynamic yellow laser beams.
* Festoon 2 RGB -- This décor string lighting system invokes the feel of vintage event lighting. The string and bulbs are IP54-rated for temporary outdoor usage, though the warmth and versatility of this unit operate just as well indoors. Completely pixel-mappable, Festoon 2 RGB also features built-in automated programs to create complex looks in seconds. The system expands up to three strings (60 bulbs) per controller. Access non-DMX control in Standalone Mode from the digital display or optional IRC-6.
* Festoon EXT RGB -- Pair this extension piece with Festoon 2 RGB for longer runs. Rated for temporary outdoor usage, Festoon EXT RGB offers effortless set up and connection to existing Festoon 2 RGB making it perfect for festivals, food trucks, and a host of outdoor events. Pack it for easy transport in the CHS-50 gear bag.
