RHC Holdings' Pro Co Sound Features its Latest DuraShield Cable Options at InfoComm 2016Pro Co Sound, an RHC Holdings brand, will be showcasing its DuraShield 5eXR Cat5e extended reach solid-core tactical cable and DuraShield, a Cat6a stranded-core tactical deployable-shielded cable, at InfoComm 2016 June 8 - 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in booth C9918. Ideal for the AV market, both cables are a great solution for short- and long-range Dante or other networked-audio applications, and can handle data, DMX, and audio. The cables are responsible for providing digital transmission of data signals and can be terminated with RJ45 or Neutrik etherCON connectors. The DuraShield 5eXR is TIA TSB-184 Cat5e compliant up to 410' (125m), while the DuraShield stranded cable is Cat6a compliant up to 280' (85m). Both cables can withstand a maximum temperature of 167-degrees Fahrenheit (75-degrees Celsius) and -40-degrees Fahrenheit (-40-degrees Celsius). Each cable features a double-shielded braiding of 100 percent aluminum and 80 percent tinned copper for first-class shielding effectiveness for EMI and RFI ingress and egress as well as a polyurethane tactical-grade outer jacket. "Having a durable and highly adaptable cable is an important component for any AV project," explains Darius Seabaugh, vice president of marketing for RHC Holdings. "With the new DuraShield 5eXR and DuraShield cables, integrators and customers can rest assured of the cables' reliability, as they are water, petro-chemical/solvent, impact and abrasion resistant." The DuraShield 5eXR Cat5e extended reach cable features performance compliancy up to 410' (125m), which is the longest length range of any Cat5e cable available and is rated at up to 3,000 flex life cycles. Options include bulk reels and solid conductors punched down on jacks.
