Absen Completes First Absen Certified Engineer (ACE) Training Program

Absen ACE training program

For three days in March, Absen's Orlando, Florida showroom was turned into a classroom as 26 technicians from 17 rental and staging companies participated in the first session of the Absen Certified Engineer (ACE) Training Program. This was a first for the Chinese LED display manufacturer. With a growing reputation in the rental and staging field, the company says Absen seeks to take the lead in both products and services. The technical training consisted of lectures and hands-on practices covering control software operation, brightness, and color calibration, soldering, troubleshooting, and more. On the third day, all trainees took both written and hands-on tests. All participants with combined scores above 80 have been formally recognized as Absen certified engineers. The second session of the 2014 ACE training program is scheduled in the second half of this year. The company says technicians, engineers, and freelancers in the rental and staging industry are showing interest in this program and their feedback shows the attendees consider the ACE certification to be a new credential, supplementing their professional qualifications in sound and lighting.
