Feld Entertainment Inc . launched its new edition of Disney on Ice presents Jump In! on August 29. During the 2025-26 season, the tour will play 36 cities, including Miami, Atlanta, Baltimore, Newark, Philadelphia, Chicago, Montreal, Dallas, and Houston. Jump In! features more than 50 Disney characters brought to life through skating, aerial acrobatics, and special effects.

Chris Lamb, Feld Entertainment's director of lighting and sound, collaborated with lighting designer Nick Whitehouse and show director Adam Loosely. The lighting design includes 90 Robe iFORTE moving lights for key, overhead, and effects lighting, along with 20 Anolis Divine 60 UV LED luminaires. All fixtures were purchased by Feld Entertainment and supplied by Robe North America.

Feld Entertainment has eight unique Disney on Ice productions touring globally year-round. Reliability, durability, and long-term value are critical factors in equipment selection.

One key focus of the design was enhancing the show's UV scene. After testing the Divine 60 UV fixtures, Lamb and Whitehouse selected them for their strong performance and IP rating, which allows them to withstand humidity, ice, and low temperatures. The 20 fixtures are installed around the perimeter of the ice to maximize coverage.

"These UV reveals are vital moments," Whitehouse says. One standout scene takes place in a dark, bat-filled cave featuring characters from the Moana films, with 16 skaters in UV-enhanced bat costumes. Combined with choreography by Adam Blake and costume design by Robin L. McGee, the Divine 60 UVs create a dramatic and magical reveal as the space is flooded with ultraviolet light.

The Robe iFORTES are rigged across multiple overhead trusses and serve as the primary fixtures for ice washes and textured lighting on both the ice and set pieces. "The iFORTES give us punchy colors and the ability to create a wide range of moods and environments," Lamb says. "They're consistent, reliable, and meet all our production expectations Whitehouse praises the iFORTE color system, particularly its white range and high CRI for key lighting and accurate skin tones. The show's vibrant palette benefits greatly from the fixture's smooth, fluid texturing capabilities, especially its water-inspired sequences tied to Moana 2.

Robe North America's Thommy Hall and the team from Robe Lighting, Inc. supported the production by providing fully customized gobos for the iFORTES, further enhancing the show's visual variety. Feld Entertainment also utilizes Robe iESPRITE moving lights on other touring productions.
