Martin Audio's BlacklineX Series Now Shipping StatesideMartin Audio's BlacklineX Series -- a classic suite of passive loudspeakers -- is now shipping from its US operation. Originally announced last October, BlacklineX has been shipping around the world, gaining quick favor in nightclubs, bars, commercial spaces, and houses of worship, but also as portable sound reinforcement and stage monitoring solutions for live bands, DJs, and corporate events. However, this month sees the first availability in the United States, and the products will also be on view and demonstrated at InfoComm, June 14 - 16 in Orlando, Florida. Lee Stein, VP for sales US, explains, "There was a prioritization of this series in other territories, but additional production capacity means we're now receiving our first containers." Comprising four two-way systems -- from the ultra-compact X8 to the powerful X15 -- and three subwoofers, including an unobtrusive slimline model, the multi-purpose BlacklineX Series raises the performance of loudspeaker systems in its class to a new level. Each symmetrical, multi-angle full-range enclosure features a user-rotatable horn for horizontal or vertical orientation, and has a screw-free, foam-backed steel grille. Comprehensive mounting options include wall-bracket, eyebolt suspension, and pole-mounting. Ergonomic handles at the rear of each full-range enclosure make for easy handling while maintaining clean lines. Summing up, Stein commented, "We're very excited to finally get our hands on this series as it offers Martin Audio's signature sound at a strong commercial price point, ideal for both portable and installation applications. Orders can now be shipped immediately."
