Pixled Showcases New Innovations at Prolight + Sound

Pixled shows its new Pixled F-10 i/o multi-purpose product on booth E17, Hall 9 at Prolight + Sound, March 21-24, in Frankfurt.

This latest innovation from Pixled is a 10.4mm pitch screen surface populated with three-in-one SMD chips that can be used indoors, outdoors, or be rigged horizontally - as well as covered -- to become a dance floor, under-floor, or stage effect.

The standard F-10 i/o tile is fully indoor use ready. It has a transparent, mesh surface for use as scenic elements and for IMAG displays. The tile dimensions are 50cm x 50cm and lightweight at only 7kg. (28kg/sqm)

For outdoor use, Pixled offers optional "clickable outdoor shaders" which are quickly fitted onto the mesh tiles and include blank panels to 'close' the modules and increase the contrast. The tiles are IP-65 rated and have a brightness of 5,000 nits.

In dancefloor mode -- with optional floor mechanics (four pieces per square meter) -- the F-10 i/o tiles are simple to install. Once the mechanics are attached, the tiles simply flip into their individual mechanics, then the fronts can be covered with white or black hard plastic protection surfaces for dancefloor mode.

F-10 i/o can be shipped as individual tiles (for indoor use only) or with custom designed 2 x 2 touring frames (outdoor) and flight cases, complete with certified TUV mechanics.

Pixled's booth will also highlight other key products, including the Pixled F-4 high resolution surface, designed specifically for fixed installation projects; and the popular F-6 and F-9 high resolution tiles, which are available with standard or Mitsubishi processing.

The full Pixled Linx (by Radiant) product lines of bendable mesh screens will also be on display.
