Continued Growth Helps ENTTEC Americas Hit the Employee Trifecta in 2016

Roz Dahlie, Brandon Mitchell, and Kaitlin Gill, ENTTEC Americas

ENTTEC Americas, based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, a manufacturer and distributor of lighting and lighting control products, announces the appointments of Brandon Mitchell, technical sales and support; Roz Dahlie, training and education coordinator; and Kaitlin Gill, event production manager / master electrician. "Nationally and internationally, ENTTEC is expanding, and our new hires will assist us not only with our clients, but with the firm behind the scenes as well," says Jeremy Kumin, general manager of ENTTEC Americas.

Speaking about Mitchell as technical sales and support, "Brandon has a very strong understanding of the way systems go together as well as excellent troubleshooting abilities; his logical mind makes him the ideal choice to assist customers with technical support and sales," states Kumin.

Mitchell brings an impressive amount of design and technical experience to ENTTEC Americas. In the past, he's worked as a lighting designer with The Lighting Group and provided his expertise on both Bloomberg Television and the Sochi Olympics. He also has an extensive theatrical background, both in New York and regionally. Mitchell earned his MFA degree in Lighting Design from Carnegie Mellon University and was a Showcase Winner in 2012 for the Robert L.B Tobin Director-Designer award. He notes, "I'm looking forward to working with ENTTEC customers and helping them use our products and technology to create new designs and further the state of the art in regards to LEDs."

Discussing Dahlie as training and education coordinator, "Roz has a lot of dynamic media creation experience in her portfolio and has the ability to connect with a wide variety of learners in an educational setting, so she's ideal to lead the way in our new educational programs at ENTTEC," says Kumin.

Dahlie comes to ENTTEC with over 15 years of experience in theatrical lighting design as well as concert touring. As an educator, Dahlie has been on staff as an assistant professor of lighting and design technology at the North Carolina School of Arts. She completed her MFA degree in Lighting Design at the California Institute of the Arts, co-majoring in integrated media in 2008 and received the Triangle Award in 2011 for Best Lighting Design. Her position at ENTTEC will include conducting regular live seminars regionally as well as at industry events, and creating online video training content. Dahlie comments "As a long-time user and advocate of ENTTEC products, I'm looking forward to educating others about the benefits of not only ENTTEC products, but LEDs in general."

Speaking about Gill as event production manager / master electrician, "Kaitlin's exceptional organization abilities make her a natural in production management, and her skills as both a master electrician and lighting designer will be an incredible asset to ENTTEC -- not only on the trade show floor, but in the office as well," remarks Kumin.

Gill has been working with ENTTEC as the conference production manager since 2015. Her resume also includes work as a production technician at the State University of New York at Buffalo Center for the Arts, as well as two stints in the lighting department at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. Her lighting design background includes regional theater as well as dance. She holds a BFA in Technical Design and Production from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Gill notes, "In my new position at ENTTEC, I hope to make the trade show experience not only more educational for our visitors, but more entertaining and fun as well. I also hope to help make the daily office activities run smoother while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere."
