Philips Introduces Showline SL Bar 620 LED Luminaire

Philips Entertainment has introduced the compact and high-powered SL BAR 620 LED luminaire. Offering the same output and color clarity as the SL BAR 640 and SL BAR 660 luminaires, the SL BAR 620 is a 2' linear fixture utilizing 12 RGBW LED light engines for a uniform and homogenized output. It will be on display at in the Philips Entertainment booth, # 1614, at LDI, held November 22 - 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"We have found that designers and specifiers worldwide are very pleased with the SL BAR 640 and SL BAR 660, yet they keep asking for a small product in the same range," says Brad Schiller, Showline product marketing manager. "By providing the same quality and features of the larger units in a more compact package, we are thrilled to be able to meet their needs with the new SL BAR 620 LED luminaire. Since the smaller form factor of the SL BAR 620 allows it to fit into many more truss configurations and locations, even more design options are now possible for just about any lighting design worldwide."

Available in a standard 60° beam angle, the SL BAR 620 provides uniform color mixing and illumination with multiple cells of control that allow each luminaire to create dynamic looks, chases, and animations. Whether used in place of R40 strips, border-lights, foot-lights, or cyc-lights, the SL BAR 620 includes standard mounting brackets for floor or pipe mount, and the mounting brackets feature secure lock-off and a tight profile to ensure close placement and smooth beam spreads for incredible coverage with a rich and virtually limitless LED color wash. Additionally, any SL BAR 600 Series luminaire (SL BAR 660, SL BAR 640, SL BAR 620) may be interconnected without affecting pixel pitch, and the Philips Harmonize Color Calibration ensures consistent control of color and intensity between all luminaires.
