Drape Kings Washington DC Business Development Manager Named ISES DC President

Meredith Greene, Drape Kings

Drape Kings Washington DC business development manager Meredith Greene was named president of the Greater Washington DC Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) for the 2014-2015 year. ISES, as stated in their vision, is "the principal association representing the creative events professional, globally." This is done through their providing education, networking, and mentoring opportunities for member's professional development.

As chapter president, it is Greene's goal to be the number one resource for Washington DC event professionals through focusing her term on the implementation of ISES International's new core education curriculum in the areas of planning, entertainment, d├ęcor, food and beverage, rentals, speakers, tenting, venues, and A/V technical services. Furthermore, Greene is leading the chapter in their effort to keep members and attendees well informed on monthly events as well as educational and volunteer opportunities via the implementation of the Star Chapter association management system.

"It is no surprise that Meredith is assuming the role of President" states 2012-2013 ISES Greater Washington DC president Heidi (Berger) Brown. "From the very beginning of her time with ISES she has shown nothing but an eagerness to help and benefit the chapter. That thoughtfulness and drive paired with her natural sense of leadership and guidance skills is the essence of what makes an excellent president. I can't wait to see where this fantastic lady takes the chapter in the next year!"

"Meredith has been an absolute invaluable asset to the Drape Kings family from day one," stated chief operating officer Kevin Goodrich. "I'm certain she will be equally vital to the continued success of the ISES DC chapter."
