RSC Lightlock to be Shown InfoComm

The RSC Lightlock will make its InfoComm debut at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida this week. Beginning Wednesday, June 15, and continuing through June 17, attendees will have two opportunities to explore the capabilities and uses of this award winning product. AcoustaCorp (Booth #5370) will be showing the unit in conjunction with the self-contained motorized lighting batten, the CarbonCub hoist. Giving a third axis of movement to a lighting fixture, and allowing the unit to be brought safely to the deck for service, the "Cublock" package demonstrates how moving lights can be used in a theatre setting without the need for a conventional lineset system. Barbizon Lighting Company (Booth 5543) will have their RSC Lightlock installed with the least possible amount of rigging hardware, illustrating the minimalist, clean approach to fixture rigging now available to designers.

The RSC Lightlock, winner of numerous awards since its introduction in 2009, is the only motion-stabilizing device for moving head lighting fixtures on the market today. Allowing fixtures to be installed with a minimum of rigging equipment, removing the need for battens or trusses in the system, its self-sensing stabilization allows designers a never -before imagined range of options. The RSC Lightlock can also be used with pantographs and motorized battens without worry over the inherent movement of the light damaging the systems.
