Robe Implements LumenRadio CRMX in ROBIN Series Products

Robe Lighting has implemented LumenRadio's award-winning CRMX (Cognitive Radio Multiplexer) wireless technology on all its current ROBIN series products, and this will now become a standard feature of all future Robe products.

In addition to the Robin series, CRMX is used in Robe's LED series including the very popular CitySkape Xtreme fixture and the brand new CityFlex 48. It is also available as an option for several other Robe product lines and as a standard accessory for the LEDWash 1200.

Czech Republic-based Robe Lighting has chosen to partner with LumenRadio as the Swedish company is recognized for its support and pioneering work in the field of wireless communication solutions.

Combining technologies from these two companies gives Robe users the opportunity to set up compatible lighting fixtures on a network or assign addresses remotely -- saving time and cabling in certain environments, and increasing the flexibility of any lighting system.

Using less cable can result in a potential cost reduction and lighting fixtures can now be rigged in more difficult-to-access spaces and environments.

The CRMX system is fully RDM (Remote Device Management) compatible and supports other protocols including: DALI, Art-Net, Streaming ACN, ETCNet, ShowNet, Pathport, and KiNet 1 and 2.

LumenRadio's wireless technology avoids interference by using cognitive frequency-hopping techniques, making it robust even in environments saturated with wireless traffic, the company says, and ideal for use on clear-line-of-sight distances of up to 1,000m.
