RCF Launches LF18X401 Woofer

The latest addition to the RCF line of 18" woofers is the LF18X401, a new design with a ferrite magnet, ventilation and "very low power compression," says the company. It features a 4" fiberglass inside-outside copper voice coil, 2,400W continuous program power handling, 98dB sensitivity, 30 Hz to 1 kHz frequency range, dual-forced air ventilation and 15mm top plate for minimum power compression, dual spider design with silicon-based dampening control, triple-roll surround and corrugated straight cone geometry. It is designed for use in touring and critical listening applications such as a studio monitoring subwoofer system.
