PR Lighting Adds XRLED 700 Spot to Growing LED Portfolio

PR Lighting's XRLED 700 Spot

PR Lighting is set to make a new addition to its expanding XRLED series, with the announcement of the XRLED 700 Spot. This is due for shipment in March 2015.

The luminaire boasts a number of attributes, the company says embracing all the features users would expect from a moving head spot but with an impressive white light -- much sought after by lighting professionals.

It has also been engineered to produce an even beam spread -- with the output generated from the 320W white LED module equates to more than 700W from a conventional discharge lamp.

Other design criteria that the XRLED 700 Spot meets include light weight (just 24kg), compact, and quiet operation. Low power consumption and low heat dissipation are further advantages users would expect from an LED source.

This fixture is fully featured, with a color wheel incorporating six colors (plus white); fixed and rotating gobo wheels (each with seven interchangeable gobos plus white); a one-by-three facet prism; frost filter; iris (5- to 100-percent linearly adjustable, with macro); 1- to 100-percent linearly adjustable dimming; electronic strobe (variable 0.3-20fps, with pulse strobe effect); linear focus; 12- to 36-degree linear zoom; 540-degree (pan), 270-degree (tilt) head movement, with auto position correction.

Finally, the XRLED 700 operates under standard DMX512 control, with wireless DMX also available.
