John Rudolph Retires; Hal Truax Takes the Helm as President of PCD John Rudolph, who for three decades led the Northern California AV integration firm PCD into one of Northern California's most respected AV integration firms, has named industry veteran Hal Truax as the company's new president. Founded in 1980 by Henry Beaumont, PCD delivered school sound systems and commercial cable television distribution solutions throughout Northern California. Randolph transformed it into a full-service audiovisual systems integrator, expanding into education, government, hospitality, performing arts, corporate and commercial markets. Bill Graham played a pivotal role in building the operational infrastructure, policies, and processes. Truax assumes the role after joining PCD as VP in early 2025. He has more than 30 years of experience in professional audiovisual integration, executive leadership, business development, and strategic growth. "John has built something truly special," Truax says. "His leadership has never been about simply growing a business; it has been about building relationships, earning trust, and creating a culture where people genuinely care about delivering exceptional results. I'm honored by the confidence he's placed in me and excited to build on that legacy. Our mission remains the same: helping our clients solve complex technology challenges while delivering an experience that makes them lifelong partners."
