Wenger Corporation Launches National $10,000 Scholarship for Students Active in Music, Theatre, and AthleticsWenger Corporation, celebrating its 80th anniversary, is seeking students who excel in music, theatre, and athletics through its new Triple Threats campaign, which includes a $10,000 scholarship recognizing the leadership, dedication, and personal growth that come from participating across multiple disciplines. At a time when many students feel pressure to prioritize one passion over others, Triple Threats celebrates those who stay engaged in music, theatre, and athletics throughout their school experience. "Many successful students refuse to be defined by a single activity," says Dave Thomas, president and CEO of Wenger Corporation. "They are musicians, actors, athletes, leaders, and teammates. Through Triple Threats, we're celebrating students who challenge themselves across three disciplines and recognizing the unique strengths they gain from these varied experiences." The company notes that students involved in music, theatre, and athletics often develop leadership, teamwork, creativity, discipline, and resilience through experiences on and off the stage, field, and practice room. These experiences help shape future leaders while building skills that extend far beyond graduation. Unlike many scholarships focused on a single discipline, the $10,000 Triple Threats Scholarship recognizes students whose experiences span music, theatre, and athletics. One member of the Class of 2027 will be recognized for commitment, leadership, growth, and ability to build on what is learned in each pursuit. Applicants will share their Triple Threats story and plans through written responses, recommendations, and a short video. Applications are open to eligible US high school seniors graduating in 2027 and must be submitted by February 28, 2027. Applications are now open, and Wenger encourages eligible students from across the United States to apply. Eligibility requirements, application information, and official rules are on Wenger's Triple Threats webpage. Wenger invites families, educators, coaches, and community members to celebrate and nominate students whose participation in music, theatre, and athletics has made an impact in their schools and communities. Photos and stories of students in grades six-12 can be submitted during the campaign, with selected students highlighted through Wenger's storytelling and social media channels as examples of what it means to be a Triple Threat.
