RC4 Wireless New Technology at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt

RC4 Wireless returns to Frankfurt April 5-8, 2016, at Prolight + Sound in Hall 3, Level 0, Stand C91. Prolight + Sound marks the first continental European showing of the 2015 PLASA Award for Innovation winning RC4Magic DMXpix. This device allows for wireless control of all common pixel string types directly from your DMX console. The DMXpix features RC4 ColorMatch and new RC4 Pixel Profiles. RC4 Pixel Profiles make it easy to create unique pixel effects across two separate driver outputs of up to 500 pixels each (1000 pixels total!), using far fewer channels than ever before. Plus, an I2C port provides Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and many other microcontrollers with fast easy access to a universe of wireless DMX data without the coding overhead of processing DMX data directly.

Showing for the first time worldwide is the RC4 LumenDimPix and RC4 LumenDimIO.

The LumenDimPix does everything our award-winning RC4Magic DMXpix does, with LumenRadio CRMX inside. Both RC4 pixel drivers provide two 500-pixel outputs, award-winning patent-pending RC4 Custom Pixel Profiles to vastly reduce the DMX channel footprint, and an I2C port for interfacing with a wide range of external microcontrollers.

For both the RC4Magic DMXpix and the new LumenDimPix we've added new pixel-string types, just like we promised: MY9231 and DMX. MY9231 strings provide high frequency PWM with 16-bit dimming for super-smooth fades and no video artifacts -- great for videography. And some pixel strings on the market read DMX directly -- now you can use them with RC4 Custom Pixel Profiles for great effects with fewer DMX channels.

RC4 finally makes a CRMX transmitter/receiver to go with our LumenDim products: The new RC4 LumenDimIO. It is non-RDM with an entry-level price of just $439 USD, providing an affordable way to get started with RC4 LumenDim devices. It's fully compatible with LumenRadio devices you already own, so now you can affordably add attractively small DMX receivers to any CRMX system.

The new RC4Magic XStick USB Dongle debuts in Frankfurt. It is a small, simple wireless USB device for setting parameters in RC4Magic Series 2 or Series 3 systems. Together with RC4MagicPC software, a wide array of features and functions are easily configured with the ease of a PC-based graphical user interface. The software includes a 16 channel testing console with individually assignable faders. When running on a laptop, it's a versatile testing and set-up system for RC4Magic devices as well as downstream DMX devices.

Also on display at Pro Light + Sound will be the 2014 Plasa Award for Innovation winning RC4Magic DMX4dim. The RC4 Series 3 DMX4dim is a battery-powered 4-channel wireless DMX dimmer for small props, costumes, and more. With super-smooth LED dimming, high-power halogen dimming, hobby servo-motor control, HSL color control, a sophisticated effects engine, and DMX input/output (both wireless and wired, including RDM), a single DMX4dim could be used to construct a complete miniature moving light, and is barely larger than a matchbox. RC4 understands the demands facing lighting professionals, propsmasters, and special effects gurus in live entertainment, film, and television. RC4 Series 3 patent-pending technology delivers versatility for RC4Magic, LumenRadio CRMX, and Wireless Solution W-DMX.
