The 2020 NAMM Show: Adamson Announces New Partner Education Initiatives for 2020 and Beyond

(L -- R): Heidi Voorhees, Marc Bertrand, Jeremiah Karni, and Joseph Valerio introducing the Winding Roads Education Series at The 2020 NAMM Show.

Adamson Systems Engineering announced a suite of new partner education initiatives set to launch throughout 2020 during a press event at The 2020 NAMM Show. These include: a US Road Show in tandem with Adamson Network partners throughout the country; increased delivery of the company's globally-standardized Applied and Advanced Certification training programs with partners throughout the EMEA and APAC regions; and the Winding Roads Education Series in partnership with the AVIXA Foundation, designed to introduce secondary and post-secondary students to the many potential career opportunities in pro AV and live production.

"We want to show students there's more to AV and live production than they may realize, with plenty of potential for exciting and rewarding careers, and believe the entire industry stands to benefit from these efforts," says Adamson CEO Marc Bertrand about the Winding Roads Education Series. "We also have other programming that will help our current and future Adamson Network partners to be more successful throughout 2020 and beyond."

The Winding Roads Education Event Series will provide students in Toronto, Canada, and the surrounding area with insight into live production, performance, and the music industry. Through the initiative, hundreds of individuals will have the opportunity to see professional audiovisual installations and touring systems, get hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment donated by industry leaders like Adamson, DiGiCo, Lab.gruppen, and others, and learn about career opportunities in the industry from the AVIXA Foundation.

Bertrand and Jeremiah Karni, Adamson's head of education and applications, announced the program alongside AVIXA Foundation program director Joseph Valerio and AVIXA Foundation executive director and AVIXA COO Heidi Voorhees on Thursday, January 16, 2020, the opening day of The 2020 NAMM Show.

"We're thrilled by Adamson's commitment to bringing education and awareness for professional AV careers," adds Valerio. "This education series is an excellent way for students to experience first-hand all the elements that go into creating a live performance. There are so many career possibilities in the AV world, and the AVIXA Foundation and its partners are here to shine a spotlight on them and build pathways towards them."

Adamson also rolled out preliminary details for its US Road Show, being presented throughout 2020 in tandem with Adamson Network sales and rental partners. The various stops will introduce new and potential users to Adamson's manufacturing history, company culture, and acclaimed core loudspeaker series, which are proudly designed and manufactured in Canada.

Additionally, Adamson is teaming up with its distributors and network partners in the EMEA and APAC regions to deliver its Applied and Advanced Certification training programs to a wider swath of users. The globally-standardized programs are designed to instill the framework needed to properly design, deploy, and control an Adamson loudspeaker system for a myriad of applications, utilizing Blueprint AV simulation software and Lake Controller.

"We've been amplifying our focus on partner education in recent years to help our rental, sales, and integration partners around the world be more successful in their work, and 2020 will be the pinnacle of those efforts thus far," comments Karni. "We're looking forward to working with our unparalleled network of partners to ensure that professionals at every stage of the supply chain -- especially our end users -- are given all the tools they need to succeed and thrive in their respective applications."

Further details about these various initiatives will be released throughout the first half of 2020.
