Stu Pribil Named Director of Project Operations, Texas Scenic Company

Stu Pribil, Texas Scenic Company

Texas Scenic Company (TSC) announces that Stu Pribil will be joining the TSC San Antonio management staff as director of project operations effective July 16, 2018. Pribil will schedule and manage the twenty-eight man Texas-based, in-house and for-hire installation crews coordinating closely with project management and engineering groups to ensure project readiness to its customers nationwide.

"Stu brings twenty-two years of field experience and leadership as senior crew chief into this new position," said president Richard Mecke. "His broad spectrum of industry contacts will benefit and strengthen the bonds between our PM and engineering groups. We are very pleased to expand our organizational reach with such a trusted member of our family."

Pribil is a OSHA 500 certified trainer and a certified ETCP Rigger for Theatre. Since 2011 he has also served as TSC's safety coordination officer, responsible for developing company-wide safety practices and policies and providing safety training to TSC staff. He attended Snow College, Ephraim, Utah and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Nevada.

General manager Steve Surratt said, "Stu's detailed knowledge of field conditions, working with general contractors and combining decades of installing a wide variety of stage equipment will be a major asset as he steps into his new role as director of project operations. As TSC's onsite manager and chief installer for multi-million dollar projects such as Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Arts in Orlando, Charleston Gaillard Center, and Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City, Stu is a perfect fit for this job."

TSC maintains offices in San Antonio, New York City, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC, and Boston.

"I am very excited to begin this new chapter in my TSC career," noted Pribil, "with the goal of a superior product for our customers and an improved informational path for our staff. I look forward to the challenges and rewards ahead."
