EnvironmentalLights.com Launches Direct DMX Pixel Control LightingEnvironmentalLights.com, an online resource for energy-efficient LED lighting systems, recently introduced an innovative line of direct DMX LED pixel control lights. The PixelDMX line of products combines RGB LEDs with circuit board technology, eliminating the need for pixel decoders. LED pixel lighting is distinctive because each module or grouping of lights, also known as a pixel, is individually controllable. Incredible animated lighting displays can be created using DMX light boards or software control systems such as MADRIX. The PixelDMX line can receive standard DMX output directly from a DMX control device, and the built-in connectors greatly reduce wiring and setup time. "The PixelDMX line of products is revolutionary," explained Alicia Cheng, director of product engineering at EnvironmentalLights.com. "It greatly reduces the amount of hardware and wiring required when creating an intricate custom large scale pixel display, without sacrificing color or energy efficiency. The on-board integrated DMX decoders and IC chips give you everything you love about pixel control -- all in one compact design." The PixelDMX line is made up of five styles of LED lights: 100mm domes, 30mm mini-domes, 80mm high power modules, strip, and waterproof strip. There are also a number of compatible connectors, to make installation easy. The high power modules are unique due to the intensity of their beam and throw of light, while the dome modules provide a softer glow of light. "PixelDMX lighting is perfect for commercial and retail applications," said Lauren Rueda, product engineer at EnvironmentalLights.com. "The granularity of control allows you to change the mood of a space instantaneously, and the connectors make this system easy to set up and use."
