Coemar Shows Reflection LEDko at PLASA 2011

The Reflection LEDko range was the center of attention at the Coemar stand at PLASA 2011, held at Earls Court, London, September 11-14.

Coemar's stand was visited by many attendees, attracted by the slogan - "instant gobos from the standard printer." The company's new unit, the Reflection LEDko, allows one to create personalized gobos rapidly and economically, using a transparency sheet and a standard printer.

The Reflection LEDko, an LED profile unit, employs interchangeable optic - in profile and soft profile (patented) versions, with a PC or Fresnel lens, generating a homogeneous beam of light without the multi-colored shadows typical of traditional LED technology, the company says.

The company adds that Reflection LEDko has proven popular among television DPs looking for a suitable product for TV studios. Reflection LEDko is available in three models: FullSpectrum, White 3,200K and VariWhite 3,000/7,000K), with three types of optics (profile zoom 28/40 degrees HD, soft profile PC, and Fresnel). The company says the units are particularly suitable for television use thanks to their uniform beam quality, as well as cooler temperatures ranging from 3,000 to 7,000K. It also cites the units' economic and practical advantages, which include no use of dimmers, ease of installation, substantial cost savings of unit maintenance, and significant energy savings.

Reflection LEDko is compatible with the most popular optics and accessories on the market, the company says, allowing one to easily update existing stocks of halogen profilers decreasing costs.

Because of its versatility Reflection LEDko is also billed as being suitable for lighting of museums, churches, cruise ships, conference halls, shopping malls, and exhibition stands. ,p> Coemar products were used to illuminate the largest area of PLASA, the White Light Zone (White Light is Coemar's distributor for the UK). Reflection LEDkos were also used for the stand of the STLD -- Society of Television Lighting and Design, an area devoted to television industry professionals interested in learning and testing innovative LED products available on the market.

Coemar also presented Infinity M line of moving head projectors that implement multi-lamp technology. In addition to the 700 and 575 MSR gold MiniFastFit, which are already available on the market, the new tungsten MiniFastFit lamp is also available and is currently being shipped from all the Coemar distribution centers. With a simple software update, the entire M Range (Infinity Spot M, Wash M, ACL M) can be transformed into studio or theatre projectors with the new 3,200K MiniFastFit lamp, designed and produced for Infinity M in collaboration with GE Lighting.
