Group One Limited's Winter Lighting Road Show Shines On

Group One Limited, the US distributor for Avolites, Designed To Shine (DTS) Lighting, and elektraLite, announces the third leg of its 2016-2017 lighting road show. Kicking off with its first stop at St. Louis' Ironman Sound on Monday, January 23, the winter trek will feature products and personnel from all three lighting manufacturers and allow customers to personally interact with each brand's very latest product and software innovations.

Stopping at six locations, Group One's road show dates and host sites include:
* Monday, January 23 -- Ironman Sound, St. Louis, Missouri
* Wednesday, January 25 -- Paragon 360, Springfield, Missouri
* Friday, January 27 -- 5300 State Highway 121, Colleyville, Texas (Dallas area)
* Monday, January 30 -- RZI Lighting, New Orleans, Louisiana
* Thursday, February 2 -- The Masquerade, Atlanta, Georgia
* Friday, February 3 -- 4Wall Nashville, Nashville, Tennessee

"We're following up our successful east and west coast tours legs with our winter road show, which will give lighting professionals in the central and southern US a chance to experience the 'latest and greatest' that Avolites, DTS, and elektraLite have to offer," says Group One's Tyler Wise, national sales manager for the DTS and elektraLite brands. "Now that Group One is officially part of the DTS family, we're looking forward to showing customers and dealers how stellar these products are and how nicely they integrate with Avolites lighting control consoles and elektraLite's newest fixtures to deliver the maximum 'wow' factor for any budget."

Group One's Brad White, national sales manager for Avolites, is particularly excited about hitting the road again right after NAMM to show off the power of his brand's new Titan version 10.1 software. "It's not an overstatement to say that V10 represents another huge step for Avolites' full range of Titan-based consoles," he enthuses. "Not only does it offer a full Capture engine-powered 3D visualizer, it also features a new intensity grid, freeform workspaces, and comprehensive undo/redo function. Furthermore, our pixel mapper is now even more powerful with a new motion blur effect, quicksketch tool, gradient fill, and other exciting features. We can't wait to show off how amazing this software platform is and how it will make every LD's job even more fast, fun and fulfilling!"

With full catering provided at each stop of the tour, road show open houses are free to the public and will run from noon to 4:00pm. Several giveaways will be held during each session, and Group One Lighting team members will be available at all stations to answer questions about the products and help guide customers in achieving their successful design goals. Products showcased on the tour will include:

Avolites: Titan v10 is the result of a year of research and development by a dedicated team of Avolites developers, enhancing the best-loved features of Titan v9 and introducing a wealth of new ones created in response to user and industry feedback. Avolites will also be carrying a collection of its most popular consoles, including Sapphire Touch, Tiger Touch II, and the new Arena and Quartz desks.

DTS Lighting: DTS products are key players in astonishing lighting rigs all over the world, from TV studio lighting to lighting designed for historical and modern architecture, light shows for big international tours and lighting for events, theatre shows, exhibitions, and expos. elektraLite: Bringing an entire collection of new products for customer evaluation, elektraLite will be showcasing its LED Ellipsoidal luminaires, DataAir wireless DMX system, two LED moving head fixtures, and two more brand new lighting products.
