Darrin Young Joins dBTechnologies USA as Director of SalesdBTechnologies USA announces that Darrin Young, known in the pro audio industry as B-SIDE, has joined the company as the new director of sales for North America. Young's interest in music began at a young age, playing multiple instruments before becoming a DJ and music producer. His professional career in the pro audio industry started in 1999 with Stanton Magnetics, where he played a key role in the company's growth into the Stanton Group -- a portfolio that includes Cerwin-Vega, KRK Systems, and Stanton DJ. Following Stanton's acquisition by Gibson Guitars, Young was retained to support the Gibson pro-audio division. Operating out of Nashville, he traveled worldwide, training distributors and leading workshops and demonstrations at trade shows. After returning to South Florida in 2014, Young went to DAS Audio of America, rising to become vice president of sales and marketing. "I've been watching dBTechnologies for a few years and love the direction the company is heading," Young says. "I bring to the table years of relationships and experience not only as a manufacturer but also as a core customer looking for the best sound technology available. Having a global perspective of what the customer wants and how the manufacturer can meet these needs efficiently has been the key to my success."
