Starlite VP of Systems Integration Chosen by InfoComm for Standard Development Task GroupStarlite Productions' vice president of systems integration, Nathan Kimball, has been chosen to be a member of InfoComm's Standard Development Task Group. Specifically, Kimball will be contributing to the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes. InfoComm is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Developer (ASD). The ANSI standards development process involves groups that together to develop a national standard. InfoComm has established a standards committee to work on performance standards and has over 500 volunteers that support and participate in standards development. Under the terms of ANSI, InfoComm is required to review each standard every five years and decide whether the standard should be renewed, revised, or withdrawn. Thanks to his expertise, commitment, and passion for this development, Kimball will have the opportunity to team up with colleagues and present new views and ideas that will raise the bar for the AV industry. Kimball will be expected to partake in meetings, both web conference and face-to-face, review and research documents, vote on document development, and contribute any additional information and knowledge of A/V design, coordination, and integration.
