FSR's InfoComm Plans Include Tools to Simplify and Streamline Installation and More

All these new tools will be ready for visitors to evaluate and test at InfoComm 2022 in the LVCC's new West Hall, Booth # W1415.

FSR to present reliable and effective tools to InfoComm 2022 that the company says will simplify and shorten installation timelines, support the industry's latest peripheral devices with power choices, and split, switch and carry a digital source. All these new tools will be ready for visitors to evaluate and test at InfoComm 2022 in the LVCC's new West Hall, Booth # W1415.

Hinged U-Access Cover: FSR's "Tool-less" U-Access cover now features a hinged design for the Company's FL-200, FL-400 and FL-500 floor boxes, allowing for smooth entry into the units. The hinge provides smooth operation while the U-Access handle makes accessing connections a breeze. No more tooling around with hard to open floor box covers, the company says.

CB-MLS Ceiling Boxes with Pre-wired MLS: The CB-MLS eliminates coordinating visits to the job site to connect power to a FSR ceiling box. With the MLS pre-wired ceiling boxes, the electrical contractor can install and power the MLS starter cable at any time during the initial construction phase. Technicians can install the ceiling box and plug into the MLS system and provide power after the AV contractor completes hanging the unit eliminating the need for multiple trips to the site.

3.1 Gen 2 Digital Ribbon USB Type-C Cables: FSR's brand-new 3.1 Gen 2 USB Type-C cables support 10 Gbps data rate and are designed for today's high-end peripheral devices that use a USB Type-C connector to transfer data. The USB Type-C cables have an enhanced pull strength of 15kg/33lbs. These cables deliver superior performance while providing a reliable plug-and-play user experience, the company says.

T6-AC2CH-CC Charger Bracket: The T6-AC2CH-CC is a USB Type-A and Type-C internal charger bracket designed to contain AC power plus a USB Type-A and Type-C Charger. Each USB charging port incorporates integrated power man¬agement circuitry to determine the delivery requirements for the connected devices. The built-in electronics directs the available power to a single port or divides the power to provide the fastest charging based on the available power. This bracket can be installed in FSR's CT6 and RT6 table boxes.

DV-HDA4k-12AUD, 1x2 HDMI DA: The DV-HDA4k-12AUD 1x2 HDMI 2.0 Splitter simultaneously routes one HDMI source to two HDMI displays, supporting resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz (4:4:4) and HDCP 2.2. This product also supports audio extraction from an HDMI source as optical and analog audio with output support for bypass and downscaling (4K->1080P).

DV-HSW4K-41AUD, 4x1 HDMI Switcher: FSR's new DV-HSW4K-41AUD is an ultrathin auto switcher with four HDMI video inputs and one HDMI output. This switcher supports HDMI video resolution up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDR and multichannel audio. In addition to passing EDID information from the display, there are multiple built-in EDID settings to simplify an installation. The switcher will de-embed digital stereo audio to provide an audio source for an audio system. The unit also supports audio return channel (ARC) for transmitting audio back to HDMI input port from the connected display.

HD-H704K-WP 70 Meter Wall Plate to Brick Extender: The HD-H704K-WP 18G HDMI Extender consists of a single gang wall plate transmitter and a small thin brick receiver. The extender adopts PoC technology to extend 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI video to distances up to 40m (131') and 1080p@60Hz video to distances up to 70m (230') over a single CATx cable. It supports bi-directional RS232 and IR pass-through to control source or display devices remotely. It also supports CEC pass-through. HDBaseTTM (PoC) feature allows the transmitter to be powered by the receiver over the CATx cable.

FSR manufactures its audio and video switching, control products, connectivity boxes and collaboration systems from headquarters in Woodland Park, NJ.
