Meyer Sound to Show New Products at ISE

At ISE in Amsterdam, January 31-February 2, on Stand #1M80, Meyer Sound will unveil new additions to its long string of products, showcased alongside the D-Mitri digital audio platform -- a 2011 InAVation Technology Award winner. Also shown will be the CAL column array loudspeakers, which, the company says, feature class-leading audio performance and proprietary DSP algorithms for accurate digital beam steering and beam splitting.

Designed for installations that demand superior sound quality, Meyer says its low-voltage installation loudspeakers provide high SPL, markedly improved sonic dynamics and clarity, and reliable performance with the time and cost savings of Class 2 wiring. To hear more about the implementation of these 48V audio systems in public facilities and beyond, visit the Meyer Sound stand or attend the InfoComm education program Low Voltage Audio Systems: Raising the Bar, presented by Miguel Lourtie, European technical services manager, on January 31 at 4pm in room D202-D204. (Registration required through ISE. For more information go to http://gourl.gr/ofl.

D-Mitri is a network-based digital audio processing and distribution platform that encompasses the entire audio chain, from microphone input to loudspeaker output, incorporating multichannel distribution, multichannel recording and playback, and show control automation. With its high-performance processing engines (96 kHz/24-bit conversion with up to 64-bit floating point internal processing) and AVB capability, D-Mitri's programmable platform makes it suited for a number of applications, from theatrical productions to a wide variety of permanently installed audio environments, the company says.

D-Mitri is designed as an AVB-capable platform. Learn more about AVB (audio video bridging) by attending the seminar AVB: The Future of Standards-based AV Networking, presented by Jerry Placken, worldwide sales manager, digital products; and John McMahon, executive director, digital products, on January 31 at 11:30 in room D202-D204.

Meyer Sound is a promoting member of the AVnu Alliance, an industry forum dedicated to the advancement of AVB. Visit the AVnu Alliance Pavilion at ISE on Stand #7Q220 to learn more.
