New Exhibitors and New Seminars - PLASA Focus: Nashville 2012 Gains Momentum

Three new sessions have been added to an already stellar line up of speakers due to take the stage at PLASA Focus: Nashville, a new style of regional event taking place, for the first time, at The Nashville Municipal Auditorium, on July 11-12, 2012.

As well as the raft of exhibitors on show at PLASA Focus: Nashville 2012, visitors can also learn, first hand, about how those new products are best put into practice. Kicking-off the exhibitor demo sessions is Niclas Arvidsson, of Wireless Solutions with a unique introduction to the world of wireless lighting control, including wireless DMX, RDM, and much more besides. "Wireless Lighting Control -- How to Use for Best Results" -- takes place on Wednesday, July 11, and, like all of PLASA Focus seminars, is free to attend.

PLASA Focus: Nashville's second new scoop is "Everything You've Always Wanted to Ask the IATSE" presented by Mark Kiracofe. He explains what the IATSE is (and isn't). He will be also be joined by local area representatives, on hand to give a brief overview of their specific locals, what crafts they represent, and where they work.

Also joining the bill is Christopher Kulesa of d&b audiotechnik with his talk "Demystifying Audio," in which he addresses the fundamentals of audio and acoustics, including an explanation of what actually happens between the loudspeaker and the listener's ears. Christopher uses practical examples to illustrate the discussion.

And finally, "Lighting Essentials," presented by Technology for Worship magazine, gives a crash course on the essentials of effective lighting design. Whether the attendd is a novice looking for inspiration or a seasoned pro in need of a refresher, this is the seminar will be beneficial.

Other confirmed sessions include: "The Green Scene: Recycling Sets," presented by Donyale Werle; "From Concept to First Night," with Jonathan Smeeton; "Trends in Live Sound Reinforcement," presented by Eric Elwell; "ROI on LEDs and Other ALS," a talk by Tobin Neis; and "Trends in Video Design," hosted by Ken Gay and Mark Haney.

Entry to PLASA Focus: 2012 is free: Visitors must register via the website at the URL below.

With over 60 exhibitors, two days of free sessions, and free refreshments, there's no better place to be this July!
