TMB Introduces New Products at PLASA Focus: Stamford

The Solaris Flare color strobe has a full 1,000W of RGBW LED brightness.

TMB will be exhibiting at PLASA Focus: Stamford from November 12 - 13, and plans to show many new products. Among the products are:

Hippotizer Version 3.2 Software represents a dramatic improvement to the functionality and user-interface of Hippotizer media servers; simplifying programming, allowing new levels of creative freedom. New features/improvements include:
• Interlayer crossfade engine -- timed or auto crossfading between media or parameters on any layer. Preview of "next media clip" simplifies cueing.
• Region mapper -- point and click functionality: Create 3D objects without point dragging.
• MA Net2 implementation.
• Genlock HD machines with monitor preview. Timecode control of media layers without timelines.
• WatchFolders -- Mac or PC content creation. Direct peer to peer uploading. Simultaneous syntax creation and media labelling while copying directly into media bank and position.
• Advanced preset manager -- create presets internally and recall without external control source.
• MultiSelect -- control any number of layers at once.
• Mackie control protocol, featuring iPhone/iPad Lemur and OSC control.

LumenRadio's SuperNova Version 2 software's user-interface provides complete system visualization, configuration, addressing, feedback, alarms, and control for all connected RDM devices. The new CRMX Unity feature extends all the functionality of SuperNova to wired devices, allowing visualization, control, and monitoring of both wired and wireless fixtures in one unified system. LumenRadio's FCC-approved units feature total transparency in connectivity between all major industry standard, manufacturer proprietary, and public domain control protocols.

Unlike other systems which operate on the principle of overpowering other wireless traffic, LumenRadio actively searches for vacant spaces in the radio spectrum and transmits at those frequencies. Furthermore, CRMX software allows the user to block out and not operate in specific areas of the frequency spectrum. LumenRadio products avoid interference with other wireless traffic, setting a new standard for wireless performance and reliability.

There are four additions to the ProPlex Devices range of tour-grade signal management systems: The ProPlex Opto-Splitter 2x8 RDM RackMount; Opto-Splitter Mini RDM Wireless with LumenRadio; Opto-Splitter Mini DMX-only; and the ProPlex IQ One 8 RackMount, eight-way bidirectional ArtNet-DMX converter with four EtherCONs.

Rugged ProPlex Devices multiple-format, copper/fiber distribution systems are built for all entertainment production and staging applications. The product range includes: GBS gigabit Ethernet switches; IQ bidirectional Ethernet-DMX converters; Opto-Splitter isolated DMX/RDM splitters; and RMT remote media transceivers (coming soon); plus ProPlex professional control cables -- fiber optic, Ethernet, and DMX.

ProPlex Devices "Blue Box" enclosures are available in RackMount and PortableMount formats of various sizes -- designed for desktop use or truss-mounting with optional yoke. Electronics are packaged for extreme conditions and temperatures with shock-mounted circuitry and advanced thermal management. Neutrik connectors are featured.

ProPlex Fiber features double cut-proof military-grade jackets reinforced with galvanized steel armoring. The internal fibers are protected with Kevlar Aramid. For the ultimate in reliability and protection of critical show data, the cables provide maximum impact, crush and cut resistance in a flexible easy-to-coil, kink-free design.

Stock ProPlex Fiber cable is ready to ship, features OM3 multi-mode, TAC4, four-fiber configuration. Single-mode and other configurations by special order.

ProPlex Fiber assemblies are also available featuring Neutrik OpticalCON quad connectors with protective caps. Stock assembly lengths are: 1.5m, 5m, 30m, and 150m. 150m assemblies are supplied on professional-grade cable reel in a durable travel case. All other stock lengths come with a protective Cordura carrying bag.

The Solaris Flare color strobe takes strobe technology to the next level with a full 1,000W of RGBW LED brightness, the company says. The strobe can also be used in blinder/wash mode or can function as strobe and wash unit at the same time. It is available with 36- or 54-degree beam angles to be used alone or synchronized with multiple units to create large-scale color-changing strobe effects. The extremely high refresh rate of these versatile, compact RGBW strobes make them ideal for TV and film applications, as well as theatre, concert, dance club, and rental application of all kinds.

Schnick Schnack Systems LED accent lighting is the first comprehensive LED accent lighting system designed specifically for the entertainment industry. Schnick Schnack Systems works in many applications, including exhibits, TV staging, trade ¬shows, scenery, and architectural applications of all kinds.

The comprehensive product range includes strips, tiles, and panels in a variety of sizes, pitches, and control options with a selection of power supplies, interfaces, controllers, and software. Just a few of the many features include a unique color-calibration system and special dimmer curve for TV cameras; versatile, rapid-mounting options; compact and modular design for quick installation and removal; and multiple product levels to suit any size installation and budget. Schnick Schnack Systems is specified for hit TV shows such as Dancing With The Stars and The Voice.
